The Faculty’s hallmark is its european and international orientation. In this field it plays a prominent role - nationally as well as internationally. In addition a greater emphasis is on issues of business law. Collaborative relationships to adjacent disciplines, such as economics, secure the Faculty's interdisciplinary direction.
Studies
The Faculty of Law offers more than 3.200 prospective jurists, who pursue their studies here, a wide range of courses and workshops.
Study management
The study management is a part of the Faculty's administration which is concerned with the development and organisation of courses. It is also responsible for guidance and exams.
Teaching
The Faculty's staff is constantly committed to improve the teaching conditions. Many different initiatives have been taken during the last years.
International studies
The Faculty's own "Erasmus-office" is an important partner for studies in foreign countries. The "Buddy-Net" is an award-winning support service for visiting students.
