Anna Schimke studied German Philology, Public Law and European Ethnology at the WWU Münster and the University of Latvia, Riga. Her interdisciplinary thesis focused on the relation between law and literature. While studying, as well as after her graduation, she worked as director’s assistance (theater) and dramaturge. In 02/2011 she joined the Chair of Public Law, Information- and Communication Law, Health Law and Legal Theory and began studying Law at the University of Hamburg. Having graduated in Law, she is now working for the chair as a research assistant and writing her PhD-thesis on Net-memory and Law.
