The Institute of Law and Economics (ILE) is one of the leading institutions in the field of economic analysis of law in Europe.

In addition to relevant research in the area of law & economics, the ILE is the central contact for all questions concerning the specialization "economic analysis of law" within the framework of the local legal formation. Moreover, the institute offers excellent interdisciplinary, international master study programs and doctoral programs.

Emle
European Master in Law and Economics

The Erasmus +: Erasmus Mundus Program "European Master in Law and Economics" (EMLE) is an international, interdisciplinary master program.

It deals with the economic analysis of the law, i.e. the economic foundations and the consequences of divergent legal norms. EMLE offers students the unique opportunity to study at up to three different European universities and receive a multiple degree.

The Institute for Law and Ecnomics is partner of the European Doctorate in Law and Economics (EDLE).
