Promotional association

The activities of the Research Center for Environmental Law are supported by the promotional association “Verein zur Förderung umweltrechtlicher Forschung”, whose managing director role traditionally rests with of the Higher Administrative Court of Hamburg’s president. The association’s purpose is to promote the study of environmental law by supporting the scientific projects of the Research Center for Environmental Law. Through their membership fees and donations, the association’s members have enabled numerous events linking theory and practice while also supporting the publication of relevant books in the field by means of printing subsidies.
