"Substantial cuts in refugee admissions, limited access to the asylum process, changed key aspects of the refugee definition in U.S. law, and significantly reduced scope of Temporary Protected Status – these are only examples of key trends under the Trump administration. This talk will analyze those key trends in the United States since January 2017 and other aspects of U.S. asylum and refugee law under Donald Trump and how they reflect the administration's overall approach to migration."
