Eminent visitors honor cooperation between the University and China

Eminent visitors at the University of Hamburg: On the occasion of the closing event of the German-Chinese youth exchange year, the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, Liu Yandong, and German Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, spoke on Thursday, 24 November, in the Main Building, praising German-Chinese relations. These are also significant for the University of Hamburg, as the University maintains cooperation in various areas with higher education institutions throughout the People's Republic. The Faculty of Law, for instance, is consortium coordinator of the China-EU School of Law – a cooperation of 13 European and 3 Chinese law schools.
