Masterstudents attend LL.M. courses at CEU

International Business Law, Comparative Constitutional Law and Human Rights – from 15 May to 16 June, 16 students from the China-EU School of Law (CESL) are taking part in regular courses in three LL.M. programmes at Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary. These studies are part of the Master of European and International Law’s elective module. “Five weeks may be short, yet I will fully cherish the experience that we are integrated in the LL.M. courses like any other CEU student,” says student Meng Fanqin. The Chinese students were welcomed by the Chair of the International Business Law programme and CESL Coordinator at CEU, Prof. Tibor Tajti, and CEU faculty and students.

The 16 CESL students were selected by CESL and CEU based on their academic merits and English proficiency. “I’m very impressed by the fruitful academic atmosphere, the friendly international environment and the modern campus here at CEU,” he says.

CEU currently has 1,440 students – 335 from Hungary and the rest from 107 different countries. The university was set up in 1991 and has American and Hungarian accreditation. CEU offers graduate education in the social sciences and various professional fields and has won international praise for its quality of teaching. It has been a CESL partner university since 2008.
