Group work
Group study rooms
The group study rooms are reserved exclusively for students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Hamburg and trainee lawyers. In these rooms you have the opportunity to work in a group of a maximum of eight members. A group study room can be reserved twice a week for a maximum of two hours per day on presentation of your student ID card or trainee lawyer ID card at the ZBR information desk. A group study room may not be reserved by members of the same group for a longer period of time. Reservations can be made a maximum of five days in advance. It is not possible to make a reservation by e-mail or telephone.
Impaired students and trainee lawyers can reserve a group study room twice a week for a maximum of four hours per day.
Touchscreens (to connect to your laptop) and whiteboards are available in each group study room.
The necessary accessories for the whiteboards (2 whiteboard markers, cleaning sponge and cleaning spray) and an HDMI adapter are available on request at the ZBR information desk when you collect your reservation confirmation. Please leave your library card as a deposit.
Group work areas
On the first and third floors in the old building area of the ZBR you will find larger group work areas with around 40 workstations, which are closed off from the library and where you can chat and get together for spontaneous group work. These areas are available to all library users.
