The Arab Data-Bank of Law and Economics: Digitizing and Encoding Legal Text

This cooperation between Universität Hamburg, Aswan University, the British University in Egypt, and Cairo University is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (#57587944).

The aim of the project is to make modern research methods (including AI-based methods, web scraping, text mining) increasingly used in interdisciplinary research better known at the four partner universities and to anchor them there in research and teaching. Intensive cooperation among the partners in the field of the economic analysis of law (law and economics) is promoted in both teaching and research
