Hamburg Lectures in Law and Economics

This week’s Hamburg Lecture in Law and Economics will be held by Oren Gazal (University of Haifa) on Wednesday, 20.05.2026, at 6.15 pm CEST.
He will present his paper "Evaluating Large Language Models as Judicial Decision-Makers", followed by a Q&A session. You can take a first glance at the topic in this abstract.
As an alternative, we offer online participation for those who are unable to attend in person. To register for online participation via Zoom, please send an email by 11:30 AM to lectures-ile@uni-hamburg.de( lectures-ile"AT"uni-hamburg.de). You will then receive an email with the access link prior to the lecture.
The lecture takes place as a hybrid event.
