Hamburg Lectures in Law and Economics
4 November 2020, by Internetredaktion
Dear Professors, Colleagues and Students,
Under different circumstances, we would now invite you to join us at the Institute of Law and Economics for our Hamburg Lecture Series in Law and Economics. However, due to current constraints, a physical meeting and discussion in the Johnsallee are still not possible.
But, as a very high participation and great discussions have shown us in the past term, the Hamburg Lectures did not lose their unique charm despite the transition to a digital format. We thus decided to continue the digital Hamburg Lectures in Law and Economics until further notice.
We hence cordially invite you to join this semester’s first Hamburg Lecture in Law and Economics with Paolo Vanin (University of Bologna). The lecture is titled “Political Geography and Pre-Industrial Development: A Theory and Evidence for Europe 1000-1850” and will be held on Wednesday, 04.11.2020 at 6.15 pm CEST. Please find the abstract and an overview of this term’s Hamburg Lectures below.
Since the lecture will be online, it is accessible to everyone who’s interested regardless of where you currently are. Thus, feel free to share this invitation with your friends and colleagues!
We would kindly ask you to confirm your attendance in a short e-mail to Justyn.brockmeyer@ile-hamburg.de( justyn.brockmeyer"AT"ile-hamburg.de). You’ll then receive access to the lecture once your registration is confirmed.
We are looking forward to your participation!
