Regarding the professional success of its graduates, the China-EU School of Law does not need to fear comparison. This is verified by the Sino-European law school’s 2016 graduate survey. This year, 95.5 percent of graduates found a position as a lawyer or enrolled in further master's studies abroad or a PhD programme within three months after graduation.
With 41 percent, the majority of graduates signed a contract in a law firm. About 27 percent were employed in the public sector, 13 percent joined the legal department of a financial or insurance institution, and 6 percent now work as in-house counsel in a company. About 8 percent decided to continue their studies.
Every year, the China-EU School of Law conducts the survey to determine graduates’ employability. In 2016, 108 Chinese and 3 non-Chinese graduates were interviewed. They had either completed the "Master of European and International Law", the "Master of Chinese Law" or a three-year double master’s programme combining both degrees.
