In the 2017/18 winter semester, there are more Chinese and European students studying law at the China-EU School of Law than ever before. With a total of more than 380 students, latest figures reveal an over 20 % increase in students enrolled at the Chinese-European law school compared to the more than 310 of the year before.
The significantly increased number of first-year students contributed to this in particular, with a total over 160. The double master’s programme “Chinese Law/European and International Law” with almost 120 new Chinese students met with considerable interest. The “Chinese Law Taught in English” semester programme with over 20 European participants also hit a new record number of students.
In the future, the China-EU School of Law wants to further raise its profile with attractive academic programmes. For this reason, this semester, for the first time, beginner courses in Chinese were introduced to European students in cooperation with the School of International Education of Beijing Foreign Studies University.
