His work comprises five monographs, 29 edited volumes, 172 articles and 53 reviews. In 2017, legal philosopher and expert on criminal law Prof. Ulfrid Neumann from Goethe University Frankfurt celebrated his 70th birthday. To honour him, the commemorative publication “Constitutional Criminal Law” has now been published. Prof. Zheng Yongliu from the China-EU School of Law is one of the editors. The almost 1500-pages book unifies over 100 articles on criminal law by legal scholars from Germany and other countries. They cover theoretical questions such as in Zheng Yongliu’s article on “Interdisciplinary legal research” as well as current practical issues such as “Group offences (§ 184j StGB)” by the German federal judge Prof. Thomas Fischer. A closer look at China is taken by Zhang Qingbo in his article “Rule of law in China from a historical perspective”.
