Borrow a USB flash drive

We now offer USB flash drives for daily loans.
For example, if you want to scan but don't have a flash drive with you, you can borrow a USB-A/USB-C flash drive from the information desk during service hours with your library card.

It should be returned within the service hours on the same day, as fees will be incurred on the following day.

Terms of use

  • The library assumes no liability for defects in the user's end device that may occur through the use of USB flash drive.

  • The use of USB flash drives is only permitted in the library rooms and for the intended purpose.

  • Borrowed USB flash drives must be returned on the same day during service hours.

  • Fees: Fees will be charged in accordance with the "Fee Regulations for Academic Libraries of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg" in its most recent version as soon as the items have not been returned within the same day.

  • In the event of loss, destruction or return in a damaged condition, the purchase price of the item must be paid, in accordance with § 3.8 of the Regulations for Use of the Central Law Library. The library's user regulations were recognised when the library card was issued/accepted.
