The Central Law Library at Universität Hamburg will be closed to all users for two days due to a server move and reorganization of the shelves.

The Central Law Library will reopen from 17 November, with restrictions. The duration of these restrictions is not yet clear.
The following service restrictions apply from 15–17 November in the Central Law Library and in most other specialist and departmental libraries at Universität Hamburg, including the State and University Library Carl von Ossietzky:
- KatalogPlus is available for research, the lending information will however be deactivated. Library accounts will also be inaccessible while work on the server continues. The Campus Catalogue will not be accessible during the work on the server.
- Universität Hamburg members may continue to access e-media via VPN. Access to e-media via the remote access server (HAN / login via library card number) will not be possible during the server work.
- Returns are possible during all opening hours on 17 November 2022. Checking returned material back into the system will be conducted as soon as possible. Any late fees accrued due to a delay in checking material back in will be canceled.
- Library cards cannot be issued or renewed, nor can fees be paid while work on the server is being conducted.
- The campus delivery services will be deactivated from 8 pm on 14 November 2022. Service is anticipated to resume when the library system is rebooted.
Ensure that all required literature is copied or scanned ahead of time, or used in electronic form where available.
