The Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Graduate School of Law

  • offers a structured PhD programme in Legal Studies and awards scholarships;
  • provides excellent learning opportunities for PhD candidates who are keen to pursue ambitious projects in an axcellent and interdisciplinary research environment; and
  • welcomes students from all over the world, which ensures the continued challenge of intellectual diversity and contributes to the programme's international orientation.
  • Additional information: applicants who have not lived in Germany for at least fifteen months prior to their application may be eligible for funding from the German Academic Exchange Service ("DAAD") as part of its "Graduate School Scholarship Programme" (GSSP). Further information can be found on our application page.

The Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Graduate School of Law invites graduates from both legal science and other disciplines to apply for places in its structured PhD programme.
