Hamburg Lectures in Law and Economics

This week’s Hamburg Lecture in Law and Economics will be held by Prof Dr. Pistor (Columbia Law School) on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, at 6.15 PM CET.

Prof. Dr. Pistor will present her book titled “The Law of Capitalism and How to Transform It“ will be followed by an open round of Q&A’s. You can get a first impression of the topic in the provided abstract.

The lecture will take place in person in the ESA building lecture Room K (Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1 Hauptgebäude, 20146 Hamburg). No registration is required.

As an alternative, we offer online participation for those who are unable to attend in person. To register for online participation via Zoom, please send an E-Mail by 11:30 AM to lectures-ile@uni- hamburg.de( lectures-ile"AT"uni-hamburg.de). You will then receive an E-Mail with the access link prior to the lecture.

The lecture takes place as a hybrid event.
