Hamburg Lectures in Law and Economics

This week’s Hamburg Lecture in Law and Economics will be held by Prof. Dr. Kai Gehring (University of Warwick) on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at 6.15 PM CET.
Prof. Dr. Kai Gehring will present his paper titled “What Makes Narratives Go Viral, and Does it Matter?“ will be followed by an open round of Q&A’s. You can get a first impression of the topic in the provided abstract.
The lecture will take place in person in Room 223 at the Institute of Law and Economics (Alsterterrasse 1, 20354 Hamburg). No registration is required.
As an alternative, we offer online participation for those who are unable to attend in person. To register for online participation via Zoom, please send an E-Mail by 11:30 AM to lectures-ile"AT"uni-hamburg.de. You will then receive an E-Mail with the access link prior to the lecture.
The lecture takes place as a hybrid event.
