France meets China: On 13 February, the China-EU School of Law invites students to an informational event at the University of Strasbourg. They are offered personal advice on study programmes and financial support.
France, as the whole of Europe, shows increasing demand for qualified law graduates who are able to work on Chinese legal matters. The China-EU School of Law’s academic programmes focus exactly at this highly sought-after expertise. On Tuesday, 13 February, Prof. Nicolas Nord, University of Strasbourg, Prof. Hinrich Julius, Universität Hamburg, China-EU School of Law Coordinator, and China-EU School of Law alumni will present the opportunities at the Strasbourg Faculty of Law in room 312. From 10 to 11 a.m., law students have the opportunity to inform themselves in depth about the Master of European and International Law (LL.M.) and the one-semester exchange programme Chinese Law Taught in English and get personal consultation.
Demand for the China-EU School of Law’s programmes has increased in recent years. The law school established itself as one of the most important institutions for joint Chinese-European legal education. More than 160 new students enrolled in the 2017-18 winter semester. The University of Strasbourg in Alsace is a strategic partner of the China-EU School of Law since 2008. With about 46,000 students and over 4,000 researchers, it is the second largest university in France.
