Once a year, the Faculty of Law at Universität Hamburg hosts a commencement ceremony to honor students who have earned a degree in the Faculty.

Fakultätsclub e.V.

Modelled on Anglo-American law societies the Fakultätsclub aims to strengthen the sense of community at our faculty by connecting students, staff, alumni and external supporters.

For international students and visiting scholars, the Fakultätsclub offers an excellent opportunity to socialize with other students and make valuable contacts. And the best thing about it: international students are exempt from any membership fees!

Membership allows you to stay in touch with the faculty and your new friends even after your stay in Hamburg. We look forward to meeting you!

Alumni Universität Hamburg e.V. aims to connect former students and active members with one another.

It is an interdisciplinary community in which to exchange ideas and develop projects benefiting Hamburg, our University, and everyone involved.

It also promotes research, teaching, and education. Thanks to Alumni Universität Hamburg e.V., graduates can maintain contact with the University and their fellow students as well as get to know other active members.
