Once a year, the Faculty of Law at Universität Hamburg hosts a commencement ceremony to honor students who have earned a degree in the Faculty.

Alumni Universität Hamburg e.V. aims to connect former students and active members with one another.

It is an interdisciplinary community in which to exchange ideas and develop projects benefiting Hamburg, our University, and everyone involved.

It also promotes research, teaching, and education. Thanks to Alumni Universität Hamburg e.V., graduates can maintain contact with the University and their fellow students as well as get to know other active members.

The Förderkreis Recht works to ensure good study conditions in the Faculty of Law. The organization gives students many opportunities to shape student life.

It provides a framework to meet and talk with other students but also with professors, law firms, and other professionals in the field. This facilitates a connection between theory and practice and provides insight into daily student life.

The Förderkreis Recht also supports the Central Law Library. In particular, it helps the library acquire new books and maintain its databases.
