The Migration Conference 2023: Call for Papers

On behalf of The Migration Conference Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the 11th Migration Conference to be hosted by Faculty of Law at Universität Hamburg, Germany from 23 to 26 August 2023.

The Migration Conference is again dedicating a special track for Law and Policy debates and covering, inter alia, the following topics:

Digitalisation and Migration
Climate Change and Migration
International Protection
Gender and Migration
War and Migration
Migration on the High Sea
Human Trafficking
Border Management
Fundamental Rights and Migration
Integration
Migration Governance
Role and Challenges of Refugee Law Clinics

We would like to see as many of you to join the debate with scholars, experts, researchers, students, practitioners, media, and policy makers.

Please submit your abstracts prior to the deadline at submission portal (https://tmc.migrationconference.net/index.php/submit/about/submissions).
Abstract submission deadline: 15 March 2023. You will need to register as a user to submit abstracts (https://tmc.migrationconference.net/index.php/submit/user/register).

Please note we are using OJS journal submission system to process submissions. Please don’t be alarmed when you see “journal” instead of “conference” on the portal. This system is simply found to be more capable in handling submissions.

Selection decisions will be emailed by the end of March allowing time for preparations. Participants without paper presentations can also register as audiences (https://www.migrationconference.net/registration/).

The conference venue is Faculty of Law of Hamburg University, Germany.
