The Conference „Movement of People“ takes place at Lichthof, which is located in the  older building of The Hamburg State and University Library Carl von Ossietzky (Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Hamburg), at Von-Melle-Park nr. 3. The entrance of Lichthof is located behind the main entrance of the library, at Edmund-Siemers-Allee at the corner of the street Grindelallee.

How to reach us

By train:
From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station): train S-31 (direction Altona), getting off at Dammtor Station. Lichthof is located at a walking distance from Dammtor Train Station.

By bus:
Buses number 4 (direction Wildacker) and number 5 (direction Burgwedel) take you directly to the Campus/Lichthof. Please get off at Universität/Staatsbibliothek Bus Station.

By subway:
Subway Line U1 (direction Ohlstedt) will take you directly to Stephansplatz Station, where you can change and get the above mentioned buses as far as Universität/Staatsbibliothek Bus Station.

From the airport:
Train S-1 (direction Wedel) as far as Hamburg Central Station, and then change to Line S-31, as mentioned above.
