Call for Papers: Fintech Startups and Incumbent Players

We welcome submissions of papers for the workshop on “Fintech Startups and Incumbent Players: Policy Challenges and Opportunities” to be held in Oxford on Friday, March 27, 2020. The event is jointly organised with the European Banking Institute (EBI), the Oxford Business Law Blog (OBLB), and the Law, Finance & Technology (LFT) project at the University of Hamburg, and it is intended to improve our understanding and knowledge in the field of regulation of new technologies for the financial sector.
We warmly invite contributions on the following topics, but not limited to:
- Cooperation and collaboration between banks and Fintech firms as well as government support for such efforts;
- Regulatory sandboxes and other experimentation spaces;
- Competition policy issues in Fintech markets.
The deadline for submission is 18:00 (CET), Friday, October 18, 2019.
