My main research fields are:

• Law & Economics (theoretical, experimental, empirical, and behavioral)
• Regulation of financial markets and technology (in particular Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies).
• Private law, product markets, and consumer protection
• Criminal justice and crime deterrence
• Judicial decision-making
• Determinants of pro-social and anti-social behavior

Teaching

At the law school, I teach the “Introduction to Law & Microeconomics” course within the specialization in law & economics. At the European Master of Law & Economics (EMLE) and the European Doctorate of Law & Economics (EDLE) programs, I teach the courses on  “Empirical Legal Studies” as well as the courses “Concepts & Methods”, and “Private Law & Economics”.
