Heinrich Böll Foundation funds the research project "Cities of Refuge"

Helene Heuser's research project "Cities of Refuge" was awarded a grant from the Heinrich Böll Foundation. It will be funded for two years, with a possible extension of another year. On the basis of the historical concept of "cities of refuge," Helene Heuser seeks to (re)introduce a contemporary concept of municipal refugee reception.
