In the Parliament of the German Federal State many deputies and politcal parties ask for a greater support of German towns and cities which want to admit more refugees. 210 deputies wrote a letter to the minister of interior to aaccept a municipal admission of safed boat people from teh meditarenain sea. The parliamentary groups of left and greens asked the parliament to vote for new laws giving greater competences to states and cities to voluntary admit more refugees. They based their demands on Helene Heuser's work on "cities of refuge".
