Information for free-movers

Below you will find all information that you need before and during your stay in Hamburg:

• Important semester dates: A list of important dates for the current and next semester at Universität Hamburg.
• Costs: As a free-mover, your current semester contribution is €340 per semester.
• Accommodation: Unfortunately, we cannot offer a dorm room to free-movers. A list of possible accommodation on the private market (in German only) is available for you here.
• Course catalog: You can access the course catalog for international visiting students with information on course selection here.
• Language courses: Updated information is available here shortly before the semester begins (i.e., March/September).
• Buddy Net:  Buddy Net is a program designed to make the arrival and orientation process a little easier for international students.
