Lecture byPaul Nemitz: Künstliche Intelligenz - Notwendigkeit und Durchsetzbarkeit eines Rechtsrahmens(Artificial Intelligence - Necessity and Enforceability of a Legal Framework)
24 January 2024
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) should not and must not be a legal vacuum. As part of its digital strategy, the EU wants to regulate AI in order to create better conditions for its use. This is because AI has many advantages, for example, it can provide better healthcare or more efficient production. However, some warn that it can also pose a threat to democracy.
Paul Nemitz, Chief Advisor to the European Commission, Directorate-General for Justice and Consumer Protection, will speak on the topic
‘Artificial intelligence - the necessity and enforceability of a legal framework’
