On Wednesday, September 18, from 13:00 to 14:00, the Florence School of Banking & Finance will host an exciting webinar on "The Investment Bank of the Future: Trends in Technology and Innovation" with Shabdeep Mann and Tom Fish, both directors at PwC's Technology Consulting practice.

The seminar will focus on four emerging technologies with the potential to transform banks and the industry ecosystem: data analytics, cloud, artificial intelligence, and distributed ledgers. It will also address market challenges for traditional banks, the impact over their business and operating models, and how the industry and regulators could better address such transformations.

The "Law, Finance, and Technology" program will exhibit the event in Seminarraum 205 at the Institute of Law & Economics, Johnsallee 35. Afterwards, we will have a brief discussion on possible emerging policy concerns and research questions on such issues.
