Lecture Series: New Research in the History of Ancient Law
The first lecture series of the 'Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Ancient Law' (CISAL) will focus on the diversity of the interdisciplinary research field of Ancient Legal History. Therefore, the geographical, chronological, and typological range of the available sources will be reviewed, and approaches and methods of both disciplines evaluated. Furthermore, the invited speakers, all being renowned scholars of Ancient Law or Ancient History, will present insight into current research projects.
